Philippians Bible Study

Bishop David Reed called the Diocese of West Texas to study Ephesians and Philippians in 2022. Bishop Reed shared the following reflection, “Paul’s beautiful descriptions of the essential nature of the church renews hope and calls on us to look higher, to remember God’s purposes in the midst of our daily work. The letters also speak to churches that are threatened by outside forces, by things beyond their control. They recall us to trust in the living Christ who gives us strength to resist despair.”

In light of Bishop Reed’s recommendation, we will be studying the book of Philippians together during our Adult Formation hour on Sundays for the next seven weeks. Class continues through August 14 at 10 am in the Large Conference Room. No reading required.
