Saint Luke’s Choir sings the Fauré Requiem, one of the most powerful expressions of beauty and reflection. Fauré had no intention of dwelling on grief and darkness; he wanted to express peace and solace in his requiem, and he does so with some of the most beautiful and memorable tunes. After the struggle of Good Friday we have a moment of calm to reflect on our journey through Passiontide.
