The Beneficiary
Each year the St. Luke’s Church community comes together at the St. Luke’s LIVE event to raise funds for the Church and its ministries. In 2024, the designated beneficiary is Plaza de Paz Respite Center. This is a ministry that is part of the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas Immigration & Refugee Ministry work.
The Plaza de Paz Respite Center first opened on July 27, 2021 in response to the increase in migrant arrivals in San Antonio. Plaza de Paz provides day-time welcoming services for families and individuals seeking asylum. Services provided include meals, assistance with travel arrangements, personal hygiene care, emergency housing, and transportation within Bexar County to the airport or bus station.

Multiple sponsorship tiers are available if you’d like to partner with St. Luke’s Church as an underwriter for St. Luke’s Live 2024. Sponsors will receive promotion at the event plus the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church website and social media. Underwriting donations are 100% tax deductible, all levels of giving are welcome.
