CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

  • The Mustard Seed strives to provide a developmentally appropriate early childhood experience that allows each child to grow emotionally, cognitively, socially, spiritually and physically in a loving atmosphere.
  • We are a faith and nature based preschool that utilizes the Pinnacle Faith Based and Growing Up WILD curriculum.
  • The Mustard Seed children attend weekly Chapel led by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church’s Director of Children and Family Ministries.
  • We are a four day a week, half-day program, with two classrooms. The Shepherd’s Room is our young two’s classroom and The Noah’s Ark Room is our older two’s classroom. Our maximum class size is 10 students with two full-time teachers in each classroom. Our classrooms are bright, cheerful and very conducive to early learning.
  • We strive to provide the children of The Mustard Seed many opportunities for personal and social growth. A variety of learning opportunities will be available to them, since young children learn best by being able to explore and actively engage all of their senses. They will be exposed to daily music, circle time, outdoor learning, art, cooking, library, and more!
