Jennifer R. Kelley

I am a baptized and confirmed Episcopalian who has enjoyed attending St. Luke’s Episcopal Church for 21 years. I work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System in the Polytrauma Rehabilitation Center. At St. Luke’s, I have served on the Ministries Committee which organizes the Salvation Army Christmas Angels and Good Samaritan Christmas Bags Ministries. In addition, I have participated in the Under the Bridge Ministries, Wednesday Evening Classes, Lenten Dinner and Women’s Bible Study. In addition, I am a member of the St. Luke’s Chapter of the Order of The Daughters of The King.  Of note, while a student at Spelman College, I worked at the Absalom Jones Episcopal Student Center & Chapel for 3 years.

I love how St. Luke’s Church works hard to meet the needs of every parishioner in each stage of their life. Whether an infant, child young adult, adult or elder, there is a ministry that is just for you.  I attend St. Luke’s with my parents, Dr. Harmon & Harriet Kelley and Sister, Dr. Margaret A. Kelley.  Thank you for your consideration; it would be an honor and privilege to serve on the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church Vestry.
