St. Luke’s Sunday worship schedule is outlined below to highlight the unique character of the individual services.
Children are welcome in all of St. Luke’s worship services. Nursery care is offered at all three of the morning services for those parents who would like to use it.
8:00 a.m. –
This first worship service of the day is traditional and reverent. It includes a sermon, holy communion, and a small amount of music. Childcare is offered.
9:00 a.m. –
In this worship service, St. Luke’s acknowledges the presence of children in the congregation. The music, sermon, and service environment invite the participation of children, youth, and families in a variety of ways. This service also includes communion and is about 45 minutes in length. 11:00 a.m. –
This traditional celebration includes the glorious music of the St. Luke’s organ and parish choir. Along with a sermon and holy communion, this service also includes a “children’s chapel” for younger children. Childcare is offered.
6:00 p.m. –
This Sunday evening worship service is the most informal service offered at St. Luke’s. Casual dress is appropriate and welcome. This 45 minute service includes a brief sermon, holy communion, and prayers for healing for those who desire it.
