Other Worship Services
St. Luke’s Church offers services throughout the week and in the community.
- Choral Evensong is a combination of two monastic offices, Vespers and Compline, taken from the Magnificat (Song of Mary) and the Nunc Dimittis (Song of Simeon). The importance of these canticles reflects the revelation to a young woman that she will bear Christ, while the old Simeon glorifies God as Christ is presented in the Temple. These settings, along with Choral Responses, Psalms, and Anthem reflect the season and are some of the most glorious moments in the Anglican Choral Tradition.
- Daily Morning Prayer and Community Eucharist on Wednesday
8:10 a.m. The service includes St. Luke’s Episcopal School and is often referred to as “daily chapel.” Each weekday morning, students gather in the sanctuary at 8:10 a.m. for worship, singing, and a lesson. This daily service is open to all who would like to start their day with prayer. Wednesday morning’s service also includes a Eucharist.
